I am using the AZ series EtherNet/IP compatible driver. The fixed I/O signal EXE-ERR is ON. What kind of signal is EXE-ERR?

This signal is output when the execution of direct data operation fails.

If direct data operation is executed when direct data operation cannot be executed (DCMD-RDY output is OFF), EXE-ERR turns ON.

The DCMD-RDY output will be turned OFF under the following conditions.

  • The main power supply to the driver is turned off.
  • The power cutoff function is activated
  • An alarm has occurred
  • C-ON input is OFF (when C-ON input is assigned)
  • FREE input is ON
  • STOP input is ON
  • STOP-COFF input is ON
  • PAUSE input is ON
  • CLR input is ON
  • Returning to origin in progress
  • ZHOME in operation
  • Teaching, remote operation, I/O test, download, configuration, backup, or restore is being performed on the MEXE02.
  • Any of the following maintenance commands is being executed: "Configuration", "Bulk data initialization (excluding communication parameters)", "Bulk read of non-volatile memory", "Bulk initialization of all data (including communication parameters)", "Read of backup data", or "Write of backup data".
