For the AR/AZ series pulse train input type, how many pulses are output per rotation of the motor output shaft for the A-phase pulse output (ASG) and B-phase pulse output (BSG)?

The A-phase pulse output (ASG) and B-phase pulse output (BSG) are output in the same number as the motor resolution.* In the initial setting, the motor resolution is 1000 pulse output, so the A-phase pulse output (ASG) and B-phase pulse output (BSG) also output 1000 pulses.

* Resolution: Number of pulses per revolution

The resolution of the motor, A-phase pulse output (ASG), and B-phase pulse output (BSG) can be switched in the following ways.

  • Setting by the resolution changeover switch on the front panel of the driver
  • Setting electronic gear A and electronic gear B using support software MEXE02
  • Setting of electronic gear A and electronic gear B using data setter OPX-2A (AR only)
  • After switching the resolution, the new resolution will be reflected when you turn the power back on.
