I would like to secure the cable coming out of the motor. What should be the bending radius?
Cable Bend Radius
The bending radius varies depending on the cable type as follows:
Cable Type | Bend Radius |
---|---|
Lead Wire Type | At least 4 times the cable outer diameter |
Multi-core cable type | At least 6 times the cable outer diameter |
Flexible Cable | At least 6 times the cable outer diameter |
Please refer to the catalog for the external dimensions of the multi-core cable type.
The external dimensions of the lead wire type are not shown in the catalog, so please measure them yourself.
Please use a flexible cable when the cable is to be repeatedly bent. Please see here
for precautions when using a movable cable .
Note that the bending radius for lead wire types and multi-core cable types is the value when the cable is fixed in place, and not the value when the cable is bent repeatedly.
