When using the AZ series or AR series with an electromagnetic brake for up and down movement, is it okay to release the electromagnetic brake at the same time as turning on the power?

After powering on, wait at least 0.5 seconds before releasing the electromagnetic brake. It takes a maximum of 0.5 seconds for the driver to complete initialization (preparation for operation), so if the electromagnetic brake is released before that time, the workpiece may fall.
