# Is it possible to reverse the rotation of the AC Propeller Fan MRS series fans?

We do not recommend reversing the fan blades because they are not designed for this purpose.
Although it is possible to reverse the blades by changing the wiring, the blade efficiency will drop significantly and the following problems may occur:

- A rise in winding temperature can have a significant effect on the lifespan and may cause the thermal protector to activate.
- The blade fastening is designed for the correct rotation direction. Reversing the direction may cause the screws to loosen, which may result in a serious accident.
