# Do fan motors have an overheat protection device?

Fan motors are equipped with overheat protection devices.  
Below is a table showing the compatibility between our main fan motors and their protection devices.

 \*The EMU series and EMR series are equipped with a DC brushless motor.  
Therefore, the overheat protection device also has the same burnout prevention circuit as DC power input fans.

Please contact us for fan motors not listed in the table.  
Also, the type of overheat protection device installed can be confirmed in the general specifications of each product.
